temptation took over



yeah, i caved. the chevron scarf proved too tempting and the socks that rock are just plain irresistible. Socktopus and Loch Ness together just blend into one color and you don't really see the striping. I like this scarf a lot, don't get me wrong, but i think i will go for more contrast between the two colors if i knit it again. the yarn is such a joy to knit with. i might have to order some more to make some socks...

I think it's very pretty - one of the prettiest I've seen. I do like STR a lot! I also like seeing the colors changing as I knit the chevron.

I agree, very pretty! It's different than the other STR chevron scarves (in blending a bit more), but quite lovely!

Beautiful scarf! I also like your "Le slouch" ... how many skeins of Summer Tweed do you need to make one of them?
Rowan yarns are really expensive in Austria, but I might just try this one for a hat.
